310T Mechanic

Ox Fleet Care is searching for an experienced and skilled 310T Mechanic, or 3rd Year Apprentice to assist with the upkeep and repair of our fleet, routine maintenance checks, mechanical analysis, and adherence to safety control systems.

JOB DETAILS:

Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Working Conditions: Garage environment, hands-on role with heavy machinery
Location: 466 Hwy 52 Dundas, ON

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed or working towards Journeyman 310T License
• Valid G License, clear abstract
• Experience with Cummin’s or Detroit is an asset
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and time constraints.
• Understanding of hydraulic and hydrovac systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexible to work schedule and extended hours as required.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:

• Are quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair techniques
• Use mechanical data to assist in maintenance decision-making
• Thrive on the accurate and successful completion of diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and other tasks related to fleet upkeep
•  Possess previous experience in hydro vac or heavy equipment industry
• Participate in team meetings and ensure all tasks are completed in a precise and professional manner
• Ensure all equipment and tools are well-maintained and used accurately
• To read and interpret electrical diagrams, training documents and complete repair procedures in accordance with Ministry of Transportation repair requirements and OEM repair procedures.
• Can Effectively communicates with service advisors and/or dispatch about additional work is needed.
