Bartels Group Inc. is seeking an organized and driven HR Coordinator to support our human resources initiatives. This role is the backbone of our talent acquisition activities, providing crucial assistance to hiring managers and integrating new employees as they start their careers with us.

JOB DETAILS:

Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Ancaster, ON. (In-Person)
Compensation: Completive Salary + Benefits & RRSP Program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A background in HR with specific experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Excel, along with strong administrative skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to effectively drive the recruitment process with efficiency, keep a keen eye for talent, and ensuring that Bartels Group continues to grow with the best team onboard.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:

  • Have experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, phone screens, and conducting interviews.
  • Are skilled at checking references and preparing employment offers, including rescinding offers when necessary, with professionalism and compliance.
  • Can efficiently manage onboarding processes, including creating checklists and sending welcome emails to new hires.
  • Are familiar with handling drivers’ abstracts and coordinating pre-employment drug testing for U.S.-based hires.
  • Have experience with conducting backchecks and managing pre-employment screenings.
  • Possess strong organizational skills for benefits administration, including enrolling employees and addressing inquiries.
  • Are proactive problem-solvers who can adapt to changing priorities and challenges in the HR landscape.
  • Have experience administering benefits and managing open enrollment for U.S. employees, including 401(k) administration, as well as coordinating RRSP programs for Canadian employees.
