Yard Maintenance Labourer

Are you an energetic student looking for a summer job? Ox Fleet Care is now hiring a Yard Maintenance Labourer for our Peter Corner’s location.

We’re seeking a hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment. If you enjoy working outdoors, and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

JOB DETAILS:

Status: Full-Time, Seasonal
Starting Wage: $19/hour
Primary Location: Peters Corners Yard (466 HWY 52, Dundas, ON.)

REQUIREMENTS

• G2 driver’s license or higher.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a strong focus on safety.
• Experience operating front-end loaders, skid steers, and tractors is a plus.
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to document daily activities, incident reports, and deficiency logs.
• Able to work early mornings Monday – Friday starting at 5:30am

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS TO:

• Keep our yard looking its best by controlling debris, picking up litter, cutting grass, and trimming weeds.
• Organize and tidy our yard and property.
• Clean equipment and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Document your work, including hours, activities, and incident reports.
• Contribute to the cleanliness of our shop, lunchroom, washroom, and common areas.
• Take on other duties to support our teams as assigned.

SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Enjoy the great outdoors, as you’ll be working outside in all types of weather.
• Be prepared for physical labor – you’ll need to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work hours vary, depending on the season: start times range from 5:30am to 8:00am.
