Tractor Operator

Bartels Environmental Services Inc. is seeking a reliable Tractor Operator to support land application operations. This role involves operating agricultural tractors equipped with GPS and dragline systems to apply organic fertilizers (digestate and biosolids) on agricultural land. The position reports to the Field Supervisor and works closely with AZ Drivers and field crews. Job Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural tractors and dragline equipment safely and efficiently
• Use GPS systems to ensure accurate field coverage and application rates
• Assist with dragline setup, hose layout, and pump positioning
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Follow all environmental, safety, and land application regulations
• Complete daily logs and application records
• Maintain professional conduct at customer sites
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Valid G Driver’s Licence with clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined and safety-focused
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Experience with Fendt Tractors is preferred but not required
• Experience with GPS-guided application and dragline systems is an asset

Job Structure

• Full-time field-based role with Monday to Friday scheduling; overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Daily travel to agricultural job sites across Ontario; up to 25% out-of-town work required.
• Use of PPE required; exposure to environmental elements, agricultural materials, and mechanical equipment.
• Participation in a supportive, team-oriented work environment with strong safety culture
